Sounds like a nice day nige. The wind blowing in your face, shane in your ears, barbed wire limbo! The trip sounds a little short to me! Did you consider paddling to the next town? Wait until im back, im going to knock you all back into Shape! If the barbed wire was a continuation of a fence, its probably a stock fence, stopping the cows walking down river.
