Great report Tim very amusing. We’ll have to have a scouting outing at the Twymyn and baby Dulas.

Great report Tim of a really well planned and executed paddle. Everything went well apart from Kee forgetting his Cag and Dave’s little trip at the bottom of Bryn Bras after getting through the difficult bit ! By the time we looked at the upper section I guess the river must have been up to a 12 or more and in flood and looked too high to run safely. We’ll have to get back there and catch it when it’s falling !

Thanks Tim for a true reflection of a cracking day out with the club. Fantastic river for so many reasons but great to see a sign saying “Kayak friendly” in one garden backing onto the river. Far more exciting watching a group of paddlers running a rapid than a fisherman dangling his line !

Thanks for the report Tim, glad everyone had a great time and wish I could have been there. Next time the level is around 0.7 at Cwmlarnech can we run down from Ysbyty Ifan doing the upper and A5 section as I haven,t done the top section. Great to see 4 people trying out their skills on another river, great stuff.

Good stuff Geoff it’s great that you have all these recordings of our trips. I note both Ricki and Chucky were there that day, have they both retired from paddling ?

Looks a lot older Geoff. Kee only looks about 10 !! Shows how we’ve all improved, or got worse !!

I guess Dobbies at 9am will give us time to get there, get changed and be ready for the 11am release if everyone is happy with that.

Good to have you back out Nigel and pleased to hear you didn’t suffer any problems with the shoulder. If you are out this weekend Gary is thinking of Lee Valley if you fancy doing the assessment.
