    Sounds like it was Tea for two even though the cafe was closed. Any paddle with Dave always turns out to be an adventure. Sorry I wasn’the there to join in the fun. We’ll done guys.

    Yes Geoff. I was desperate for a piss and the water in the Alwen was obviously brown and peaty running off the hills, sorry for the confusion Seems like you got mixed up with Rob’s relief stop ! P.S When are you coming out with that Go Pro of yours again, desperately needed !

    Operation on 17th October so can’take do 24th October or 12th November. Can do any of other dates but Sept 30th/Oct 1st would be favourite.

    Thanks John. Should be able to get the maximum 6 for the 3* assessment with Phil Hadley. We can do another training day this Saturday for those taking the assessment if they want us to run through the syllabus again. Venue would have to be lower Tryweryn , Mile End Mill again or a run down from Ironbridge to Jackfield so everyone knows the stretch of water they’ll be tested on. Doesn’t look like there will be much choice elsewhere at the moment !

    Excellent day enjoyed by us all and great fun running the “New Serpent’s Tail”. Good to see Rupert enjoying it and doing seal launch rock with a smile. Great to round it off with a exciting trip down Town Falls !

    Well said Geoff, Dave and Tim offer great advice and it’s great that we all support each other as a team and everybody can portage without feeling under pressure. I bet you’re looking forward to going back there………next week !!
