Supposedly the “Wise” one, that puts me under pressure as well as the cooking!

Fine with me Tim, I’ll take Rich again, Sunday travelling up worked well as the journey back was not so good.

A great report for an excellent day enjoyed by all, which I now completely understand why Ricky’s had the desire to return to this river. Good company and lets continue exploring new rivers whatever the grade.

Looks like a Tim, Mark and Kee wish with Barry on safety. Good luck, I might come along to take video footage!

Just watched Barry’s footage of the grade 3 section, we did enter from the right, rather than then left, noticing the current surge from the left as we went around the tree. Interesting to note that the small branch below was still there. It was this section which caught Nigel on the second trip.

Correct Nigel, I think the problem was about the “Churning” up of the area before the gate into the field, there seemed to be some new “Hard” core underneath and whether this lady was concerned about the damage, I’m not sure. She was pretty adamant about us moving on and suggested the church car park prior to the turning on the right, but then said you can’t park there either. Any way all was resolved and in future we will park at the church.

Great report Rich, at last we were able to return to this interesting river. With regards to Kee’s misdemeanour, I think we shall nickname him as “Humphrey”.

Great leadership by Tim and description of key “Drops”, allowed us all to be successful on this river.

Another in depth river report with great memories of this great trip with supportive and encouraging people, who helped me out on two occasions when I mis-read the river. Everyone, achieved their set expectations and looking forward to next years adventure.
