Tim, Nigel, Duncan and Chris (aka Bush) paddled a classic section of the Llugwy yesterday. Pont Cyfyng to Forestry Falls. FUN, FUN, FUN. Entertaining grade 2 with a bit of grade 3 at the end. Levels were perfect and the snow covered mountains added to a really good trip. Everyone cleaned Forestry Falls first time with Duncan managing to paddle his way out of a stopper. Nigel’s third run down resulted in a major split to the side of his boat after it lost a head to head fight with a rock. It didnt stop Nigel making us a lovely cup of coffee (as usual) at the end. Tim and Bush (aka Chris) did a quick run through Cobdens (grade 4) to round off the day. Well worth going up there at some point Saturday Club.
