Scotland trip

We are looking to arrange a Scotland trip for club members. The trip period is suggested is around October half-term (WC Monday 26th), aimed around Grade 3 rivers.

If you are interested but the suggested period is unsuitable for you, please confirm your interest in the trip below and confirm the date is unsuitable for you. For those interested, we freely welcome your thoughts on alternative dates, but we can discuss this separately if there is not enough interest in the October break.

Extra traffic on the roads, less availability for accommodation.

Thanks for comments so far.

To answer some of these comments, the main aim at this stage to to see who is interested. The Committee discussed and agreed to a provisional period last night, but this is obviously up for further discussion should the majority of interested have an issue with dates.

Sounds ok to me Ricki. Midges should have died off by then. Half term in Scotland is
12th to 23rd.

I’m interested and depends whether WBA are playing on which weekend, as well as being in the premier. Won’t know fixtures until late June.
