Its 9.00am , outside temperature 2 degrees and with a sprinkle of snow Tim, Bush, Mark, Keelan, Dave and Kyle style the section above the chipper and do a complete run of the upper, no probs. With big smiles we sort the shuttle out for the lower run and are joined for the paddle by Geoff and a chap called Connor who described himself as a paddle tart! It turns out he rescued Marks boat on the Conwy last year. Geoff cruised the Lower T. I didnt see a single high brace from him. Dave did a fancy spin halfway down Bala Mill falls which impressed everyone. A good day that ran really smoothly. Cheers Timbob.

No Scott or Nigel?January 13, 2013 at 11:03 am #749GeoffParticipant12 minutes of yesterday’s paddle
January 13, 2013 at 11:29 am #750NigelParticipantHi All,
Glad you hade a fun day, the footage looks great Geoff, Well done to Keelan I know he had some reservations about tackling the Upper, looked like you nailed it to me Kee, Nice one.
My apologies to all for not attending I was up at 06-15am with the intention of taking some photo’s of the upper and you guy’s, I woke with a stinking headache and sore throat, took some pills and set off, I got to Dobbies around 09-00am and felt worse had a hot drink and some more pills, then had a snooze for 20 min’s , it was at this stage I decided it was not wise to attempt to paddle feeling so unwell, so headed home. I am really sorry Guy’s and on a personal note I am really GUTTED to have missed the trip.
Cheers 🙁January 13, 2013 at 11:31 am #751GeoffParticipantHangover…..!

I am to old to suffer from hangovers now anyway.
Glad, you managed a great run without fault, superb.January 13, 2013 at 6:57 pm #753RickiParticipantWell done guys! What level was it on? It looked higher than the usual 9.
Nige…..get better and stop drinking!
See you all at the weekend?
January 13, 2013 at 7:18 pm #754TimMemberThe footage has been really useful for me to look at. I worked really hard yesterday at leaning forward. I’ve been getting into a bad habit of leaning back in the kayak, but having looked at Geoff’s video it appears I’ve sorted the problem out. It’s also nice to see a video where I’m not having to roll! Happy Tim!
