Are you sitting comfortably? Then I will begin. This will be a bit convoluted but please bear with me. You may want to make a coffee. No? Ok then here goes.

The plan is to paddle two rivers on Saturday namely the tawe and the usk.

The Tawe will be on a low level and is suitable for grade 3/4 paddlers. I will pick Kee and Geoff up at 6.30am and will meet Rich and Paul in the Leominster Morrisons at about 8 am.

The Usk starting at Sennybridge will be suitable for everyone. Please aim to be there at 12 midday. The get in is in the heart of Sennybridge on the A40. Drive past the Usk and Railway Inn and turn Right immediately before the Red Lion Pub on the RHS. Drive down the narrow lane to a field next to the river. Have a look at google street view to get your bearings. The Leominster, Brecon route is 90 miles from Wolverhampton taking 2 hours 14 minutes. Hopefully Nige and Dave P will join us for this one and can share a lift to the river.

We are planning to stop for a bite to eat on the way back. It will be great to see you there.

    Hi Tim,
    A very detailed itinerary !
I was hoping to be out tomorrow but due to ongoing transport issues I cannot make it for which I am gutted. I may add I was up for both the Tawe and the Usk as if travelling that far it would have been silly not to make the most of both these opportunity.
May I wish you all a safe and enjoyable day, look out for each other as I know we all do and I look forward to the report and excellent footage I know will follow !
I really hope 2016 is a more fruitful season for me on a personal note as 2015 has been a write off with injury and personal issues to deal with.
    Enjoy 😉
