For the record. The River Vyrnwy turned out to be our last paddle of 2015. We ran it from Pont Logel to Pont Robert where the EA gauge was reading 1.61. We were a group of 7 :- Geoff, Kee & myself with Asa and Sonny on the Vyrnwy for their first time and Steve and Oliver running the Pont Logel to Dollanog section for their first time. Everyone had an enjoyable day paddling which was swim free but with a couple in the group demonstrating the benefits of rolling practise in the pool ! A pint in the Breidden Arms finished the day off nicely ! P.S http://www.thebreidden.co.uk is our likely s stopping off point following our paddle next Saturday.
