Impressive. The guy who did the rescuing. Didn’t hesitate. Jumped straight in. Awsom. The muppet who tried to swim across to get his paddle. Excellent video to. All along expected the paddler to do something stupid.

    Hi All,
this really shows the importance of giving that little bit of extra time and distance when tackling even reasonably tame drops, and ensuring the drop is clear and the previous paddler out of the way and safe before we take the plunge, it is a little like driving a car and allowing the safe distance between the car in front and yourself, as we know different speeds and conditions affect the distances required to stop. We travel on moving water which varies in speed all the time and we need to observe this at all times to ensure we all have enjoyable, fun trips but most importantly we are all SAFE. I think we as a club are fortunate to have several very experienced members who look after the safety of us all extremely well and ensure we work as a team, Thanks Guy’s.
Have we any safety days coming up as I would like to attend.

    Cheers 🙂
