It’s been exceptionally dry for the time of year, few rivers are running and their is no release on the Tryweryn again. Rain is forecast today and overnight but is unlikely to bring anything into play but merely “top up” the old favourites. Tomorrow’s weather forecast looks to be good with temperatures around 8/9*C.
and consequently Kev and Sonny are eager to get on a river paddle. With that in mind we decided at last night’s pool session to do the lower Dee from Llangollen down through Trevor rapids to the country park. Rob, Steve and myself are offering assistance to the other guys. If any one wishes to get out tomorrow we are meeting at the Stewpony at 8.15 or Dobbies at 9am. Post a message if you’re coming, Cheers Rich.
Big thanks to Rich, Rob and Barry for leading this weekend. It was a really enjoyable paddle with some nice features, the opportunity to play, practice basics and a good intro for Kev and Sonny – who both did really well.
Thanks for the various lifts – must be a bit of a record as I travelled in 3 different cars/vans!
