Once again there are very few options due to lack of water. The Dee is below 3 on the MEM gauge and although the Severn is low for this time of year it is still too high to make Jackfield worthwhile. Another suggestion from Dave Bennett is Symonds Yat and the Wye gauge at Ross- on- Wye is 0.59. Looking back in my records I’ve noted on a previous visit (good level at 0.51) so that may be an option as we haven’t been there for ages. So if you fancy paddling tomorrow suggestions are welcome.

Only Dave B, John and me are definite for tomorrow so we’ve opted for Symonds Yat as we don’t have to run a shuttle. If anyone else wishes to join us we’ll be there for 10.15 to 10.30. or if anyone else is up for it we can meet up first.

    Hi Rich,
Thanks for keeping us informed. I have things to do tomorrow, and as no water I will give it a miss. Have a good day.
    Cheers 😉
