    Dave nicely demonstrates one of the methods for Breaking into the flow from out of the top eddy at Jackfields. We worked on making full use of the eddy to pick up speed, paddling on the downstream side, turning the head and shoulders to look downstream.

    Dave then demonstrates an excellent ferry glide at the bottom of Jackfields again only paddling on the downstream side.

    This isn’t the only way to move across a river but is very effective.

    Nice vid Geoff,i mean Tim lol.Grt footage ,could do a vid of lots of action there its a grt visual as you are above the river and people can see very clearly what they are doing right or wrong.PS Mick u need some airbagsgs in that new boat fast,that’s one heavy boat full!!!
