    Im busy Saturday afternoon and therefore cant travel too far this Saturday. Would anyone like to join me for a coaching session on Jackfields Saturday morning for a few hours?

    I would like to run a session looking at strategies for breaking into the current. When we break into the flow we have lots of options available to us and the techniques we use obviously depend on the situation. The aim of the session therefore will be to develop skills on Jackfields that can be transferred to new situations in the middle of deepest darkest Wales in December! We will look at paddle strokes, boat angle, speed, using the feet.

    I will be at Jackfields for 9.30am

    I’ll be there Tim. Don’t think Kee will be too bothered though if anyone else going elsewhere.

    That’s great Geoff. I would go further afield myself but cant due to other commitments. Dave Y was saying that he plans to start going to Jackfields on Tuesday evenings now that the nights are lighter. I will attempt to make those sessions as well.

    Last 2 weeks on the Tryweryn and the previous 3 weeks on the Dee. Jackfield would be a first for this year and a nice change. If you need any help Tim I’d be willing. Might be worth contacting a few people who have been waiting for the warmer weather and some help on moving water.

    Hi Tim,
    I’ve got Tyler all weekend, but he has asked me to go to Jackfields tomorrow and is happy to watch and take some photo’s. So possibly see you in the morning.

    That sounds great Tim – really sorry I can’t make it. Is any one planning to paddle on Monday – Jackfields or ????
