Its taken a long time to get here!

Ive been studying this one for years and I remember walking half of it with Barry, Mark and Mike many moons ago weighing up our ability at the time and setting long term goals.
For a full run of this river the ideal level is a metre and the rain still persisting down. Well, we arrived on Sunday and the level was 0.98 and raining and today was the day. Believe it or not I had to use my powers of persuasion on Bush and Mark to get them on the river because they thought it would be too low! I remember saying to them “If I don’t do it today I will never do it!” My little strop worked on them and the level turned out to be perfect. Medal for tim.

Im not going to bore you with the details of the run. Its top quality. Several stoppers and swims from yours truly and some brilliant memories. We have some amazing places in this country.

    We will return………..

Congratulations on reaching some of your goals, sounds like it turned out to be a brilliant day all round. Think I’d need to smoke a bit of wacky backy before I got on there !!
