Fourteen of us including 4 new guys and 2 running the lower for the 1st time headed to Bala.
A few decided to start at chapel with the rest meeting them at the usual get in.
Two early swims set the tone for the rest of the day, with several more to follow but no dramas.
The size of the group and popularity of the river meant chances to stop and play were limited however all the new guys progressed well, as all the footage shows and impressed all how they coped with the challenge.
At Bala Mill falls myself and Barry set up safety as Mark scouted the falls with the new lads.
Christian and Shane decided to give it a goalong with Elliott Andy and the rest of the group.
All 10 were successful and with smiles all round Mark, Kee, Shane and Christian decided to run it again with various success.
Refreshments later on the car park and a chance for a bring and buy sale with some items Mark found in his glove box.
Mark himself picked up a new spray deck that fitted his boat lovely however said it needed taking in a little bit as it was baggy round the waist….!
