Over the last five years we have gradually improved our stock of kayaks and we continue to do so. I listened to my brothers advice for the first time in my life and made sure that the club never bought two of the same. I think this policy is working.

Space is limited in the plant room and the introduction of a new boat means the removal of an old boat. Where to you ask? My garden I say. The conversation with Mrs Kelly went something like.

Mrs Kelly “what the f are those?”

    Tim “kayaks”

Mrs Kelly “what the f are they doing in my garden ?”

Tim “Its just a temporary measure darling, love you”

Mrs Kelly ” I want them shifted now!”

Tim ” Ok dearest” (secretly hiding them down the side of the garage)

5 years latter and Ive finally sold 2 for £100 to a chap who drove all the way down from Sheffield. I should have got rid years ago. Ive put another on ebay which ends tonite at 8pm. I cant believe the amount of interest in them.
