The level today was about 1.25. Not sure what the lunar phase was. The paddlers today were Tim, Mike, Rich D, Nigel, Kee, Gary and Barry. The first weir was great today at this level with everyone getting stuck in and having a good go. Mike’s paddle snapped today, another reminder that more of us should carry split paddles in our boats. Today it was Ludlow but it could have been the upper dart. A fun surf wave after the second weir and good opportunities to practice breaking in and out and ferry glides. Everyone successfully ran the third and fourth weirs. It was a pleasure joining the Saturday Team today. Thanks!
